At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Graphic and Visual Designer you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared Graphic and Visual Designer Senior joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.
HOW A GRAPHIC and VISUAL DESIGNER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
In this position you will:
•Support the Communications Team to create guidance, style guides and templates for the development, revision and delivery of internal and external communications materials.
•Aid in the preparation of briefings for leadership's presentation to our internal and government customers. Including, but not limited to, producing and utilizing data visualizations, designing for PowerPoint presentations, and graphics for new work proposals.
•Work with subject matter experts to design, produce and deliver complex graphic products, to include participating in customer review meetings to guide project revisions and direct and define project requirements and plans.
•Collaborate across all service lanes within programs to gain understanding of all facets of the program and technologies.
•Facilitate discussions about how to visually represent complex analytic ideas.
•Ensure deliverables meet editorial and customer specifications, as applicable, and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
EDUCATION
BA/BS
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years' experience, portfolio samples required
REQUIRED SKILLS
•Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud products (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
•Highly skilled in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
OPTIONAL SKILLS
•Create animations using Adobe After Effects and other industry-standard tools
•Film, edit and produce video content
