Perform MS Server/Active Directory Services administration and management to include design, cleanup and routine maintenance and configuration.
Develop, update, document and manage GPOs across complex multiple domain, networked environment
Participate in the planning and execution of Active Directory Domain level upgrades
Manage, monitor and respond to alerting for systems and services maintained
Implement patches and upgrades to ensure server and workstation environment in compliance with STIG and Information Assurance regulations.
Support implementation of Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
Automate system management and monitoring
Participate in System Administration On Call rotational support roster
Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.
Sets up administrator and service accounts.
Maintains system documentation.
Interacts with users and may evaluate vendor products.
Coordinates installation of new hardware & software, and provides backup recovery.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
May program in an administrative language.
Develops and implements testing strategies and documents results.
Provides advice and training to end-users.
Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members
May serve as a technical team or task leader.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical certifications or training; or work experience.
6-8 years of directly related experience supporting Active Directory operations and engineering with increasing responsibility
Certifications: MCSE: Server Infrastructure, MCSA: Windows Server 2012
