HOW A SR HELP DESK TECHNICIAN / SYSTEMS ADMIN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Be part of a Tier 2 Help Desk for the enterprise. Act as the front facing entity for the division, including triaging all tickets and responding to technical inquiries related to the various services own by the division. In addition, provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting services before escalating to the respective Tier 3 shops.
Assist with account management for end-users and administrators through Active Directory. Separately, enrolling account certificates onto smart tokens.
Image certain laptops and desktops for the division and Tier 1.
Assist in the complete operation and management of four IT services own by the Tier 2 Help Desk and used throughout the Enterprise.
Act as an agile response team for all short notice issues pushed down from division Leadership.
Develop technicians for possible advancement to select Tier 3 sections by completing an in-house multi-tier training plan. In addition, serve as a technical and functional training expert for our government counterparts.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: AA/AS or equivalent
Required Experience: 5 years of system administrator experience
Required Technical Skills: DoD 8570 Compliance (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Location: On Customer Site, Washington, District of Columbia
