Looking for an experienced manager to lead a small program located in Washington DC, with the opportunity to grow the program through thought-leadership and relationship building. Candidate must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong client management, presentation and facilitation skills, including experience with C-level client facing interaction. A competitive candidate should have the experience and knowledge to lead the following responsibilities
Provide management and supervisory oversight of all personnel assigned to the contract, as appropriate.
Establishes a robust, disciplined approach to problem identification and correction, taking corrective actions and employing risk mitigations as appropriate.
Establish critical partnerships with the clients and teammates, collaborating to ensure improved contract performance.
Manage and provides oversight for ensuring compliance with all corporate program reporting requirements.
Manage the successful completion of tasks and provide support to the financial management and business development activities.
Supervise assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate managers, and perform personnel actions including hiring, layoffs, and performance evaluation.
Direct program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serve as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
Perform business development activities, including the preparation and review of technical and cost proposals.
Coordinate and monitor subcontractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables and finances.
Develop, review, and approve deliverables, invoices, plans, consulting agreements and other program documents.
Prepare and provide various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.
Ensure compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
Develop and institute processes and procedures that improves the quality and operational efficiency of the contract.
Provide consultation and thought leadership on Enterprise IT to help support the client’s mission.
5+ years of project or program management experience
Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and teams
