Our work depends on a Business Analyst joining our team to support a US Government Agency customer in Fort Lee, VA. The selected Business Analyst can work remotely, anywhere in the CONUS United States.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Business Analyst supporting this federal government customer, you will be trusted member of a software engineering team focused on improving existing defense software.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Determines cost of operations by establishing standard key performance indicators by departments, by divisions, and by events; collecting operational data.
Conduct monthly variance analysis by providing financial analytics by departments, by division, and by events.
Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Work closely with IT to maintain database integrity by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials. Maintains compliance with company policies, practices and procedures.
Participates in proactive efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Works effectively and communicates clearly with other employees.
Handles changing deadlines and priorities.
Reviews work for accuracy, completeness and proper authority.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Proficient in Office 365, ChangeGear
IAT II or above qualifying certification (most common is CompTIA Security+)
Years of experience required: 3+ years of direct related experience
Bachelors degree or higher

The likely salary range for this position is $49,583 - $82,804, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
