GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support (MTCCS) program.  GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training.  Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems.  Establish /maintain training and exercise networks.  Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities.

USARPAC MTCCS End-to-End (E2E) Systems Engineer II:

Principle duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices.
  • Plans network layouts and configures systems to user environments. 
  • Analyzes network topologies and traffic and capacity requirements. 
  • Supports the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed. 
  • May provide technical support and troubleshooting to users. 
  • May perform network administration duties.
  • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced network personnel and may have supervisory responsibilities. 
  • May serve as technical team or task leader. 
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. 
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles, methods, and techniques with 8 – 10 years’ experience.
  • Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC).
  • Knowledge of associated hardware, software and equipment.
  • Knowledge and familiarity of Army Command and Control Systems is highly desired.
  • Expert knowledge in enterprise services is highly desired.
  • Professional certification in one or more specific technologies may be required to meet DoD approved RMF baseline certifications.
  • Must meet IAT baseline certifications; IATII preferred.

Education Required:

  • BS/BA required in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field with concentration in computer based technology.
  • 8-10 years of relative experience.

Clearance:

  • Position requires a SECRET security clearance
