While hundreds of first -time investors are turning to the markets to help pay for their homes, send their children to college and secure their futures the mission of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is becoming all the more vital. GDIT is excited to support the SEC in as it seeks to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitate capital formation. The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SECs IT infrastructure. Our dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC.

We are seeking an Interim Enterprise Service Desk Operations Program Manager in Washington, DC. The selected candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a SEC Public Trust Suitability.

The Enterprise Operations and Service Delivery Program Manager is responsible for the following areas:

  • Service Desk and End User Computing

  • Change Management

  • Problem Management

  • Configuration and process management

Duties:

  • Ability to directly interface with SEC management counterparts to provide status updates, address issues and provide support for escalation if needed.

  • Assist with defining program governance requirements and subsequently review performance objectives to determine if they have been designed and established to comply with established standards.

  • Provide reports and metrics to GDIT and SEC management for compliance and performance

  • Manage and respond to SEC data calls and other IT service request

  • Ability to analyze and assess problem situations to support the planning, design and implementation of suitable solutions

  • Serve as a liaison between multiple internal and customer divisions

  • Formulate standard operational procedures for inter-divisional communications, recommending improvements as necessary

  • Conduct technical policy and contract reviews as requested and advise the Senior Management accordingly

  • Provide recommendations to Senior Management

  • Collaborate with the SEC Program Management and the Performance Management staff

Required Skills:

  • Candidates must have PMP Certification

  • At least 8 years of related management experience with an emphasis on Change, Problem, Configuration, and Process Management programs and/or projects as well as Service Desk and End User Computing

  • At least 5 years of proven experience managing a program with at least 50 personnel

  • At least 3 years of experience interfacing and presenting to C-level executives

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field preferred

  • In depth knowledge of program governances and contract deliverable maintenance

  • Experience with the Federal government

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills at all organization levels
