GDIT is seeking Help Desk Technicians to provide technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software, in support of the USSOUTHCOM-SCITES Program.
Provides Trusted Agent user support to USSOUTHCOM and associated users. Receives calls and records user data using ServiceNow software. Gathers data for creation of user accounts and guides new users through mandatory training. Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems. May route calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.
May enter commands at a computer terminal and set controls on computer and peripheral devices.
Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
1+ years hands-on experience in an Information Technology environment.
Customer Support and ServiceNow experience a plus.
High School degree or GED equivalent
