The Federal Health EMR Implementation Manager is responsible for managing the Implementation and Deployment of the Cerner EMR solution for a Large Federal customer.

Job Description:

• Work closely with partners to define the Implementation and Deployment strategy
• Oversee the scheduling of the deployments in multiple simultaneous locations across the United States.
• Monitor all aspects of the deployment and provide management updates on a frequent basis.
• Oversee all training development and implementation.
• Ensure all deployment SLA’s are being met.
• Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management.
• Supervise assigned staff, may include subordinate supervisors and managers.
• Develop technical project plans, proposals, reports, and administrative reporting.
• Conducts planning and provides recommendations on task workload.
• Manages risk tracking process.
• Attends customer meetings and serves as client liaison.
• Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
• Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
• Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.
   

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Information Systems, or Healthcare related field, Master’s Degree in healthcare preferred
• 5+ years experience with implementing electronic health record systems (Cerner)
• Experience supporting large Federal Healthcare systems and customers
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment
• 5+ years of progressive experience in managing application systems support teams in a distributed computing environment with an emphasis on project management

The likely salary range for this position is $113,200 - $169,800, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
