GDIT is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support 24/7/365 operations in Wiesbaden, Germany supporting U.S. Army Europe as a member of our EMITS program team.


The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for maintaining an enterprise Intrusion Detection System/Intrusion Prevention System. Experience identifying anomalies, developing, and refining IDS/IPS rules is essential.

This position is part of a shift work schedule which includes coverage on nights, weekends, and holidays.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Active Secret Level Security Clearance

  • BA/BS or equivalent, 2+ years of experience

  • Must obtain German TESA

  • Direct experience with the Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) stack and with Cisco vFTD is a plus, but not required.

  • Successful candidates also bring a solid background in both basic Windows and Linux administration.

  • Experience with Mobile Device Management platforms, such as Samsung Knox, is a plus.
