**Position requires an in-scope TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.


The Administrative Assistant (AA) is embraced as a member of the team whose primary function is to support the Chief but will be asked to do other administrative task for team members. The candidate will interact with senior special assistants across the Sponsor Organization as well as outside vendors when arranging meetings for the Chief. As she/he will have this variety of interaction, we request the candidate have good verbal and written communication skills--showing a positive, can-do attitude. We request the candidate be available at various times-­adjusting schedule as needed-as she/he will be expected to assist with set up/shut down of various classrooms for one of our flagship programs. Generally, the preferred hours worked would be 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The officers could be asked to travel to HOS or another compound building on occasion.  Extensive Calendar Mgmt skills and the ability to understand and book foreign and domestic travel.


Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Outlook Calendar required with previous experience using the Sponsor Visitor Request System, Sponsor Travel System; Sponsor Training System; Sponsor Supply System; Sponsor Reimbursement System; Sponsor Access Request System, Sponsor Procurement System and Microsoft Office (MS Word - Basic, MS Excel - Basic, and MS PowerPoint - Basic). Previous Sponsor experience is highly preferred as the office does not have the ability to provide in depth training in Sponsor Applications and Systems.




Associates Degree in a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.



5-8 years of related administrative experience.
