The work of the AA is hands-on and transactional; it also offers opportunities to develop outreach materials and brief guidance to customers. With direct guidance and collaboration with the senior Control Officer (CO), the AA will convey Interpretations of established policies, guidelines, and instructions to meet mission needs. The AA will work with Control Officers (COs), as needed, to provide reporting access to analysts on a Need to Know basis. The AA will also assist other COs with other duties as assigned. SSRP CO duties includes, but are not limited to: Routinely exercising logic in reviewing Need-to-Know justifications and assessing If the justifications meet established threshold to require access to the sensitive information. Staff officers makes the final determination regarding accesses. Review requests to confirm subcompartmental accesses in Sponsor systems or in conjunction with travel attendance of Sponsor officers at meetings. Routinely respond to notifications to re-evaluate MC officers justification for access land Need-to-Know. Print reports and monitor physical access to reports for one time read-in requests. This includes managing secure storage of reports, appropriately recording access for reporting audit purposes, and archiving cover sheets. Providing MC officers access to sub-compartments based on Group Chief or Team Chief approvals. Preparing and securely store Nondisclosure Agreements from MC officers to ensure authorized access to reports. Providing clearance verifications for working groups and briefings. Managing analysts accounts to ensure they have the required electronic accesses. Updating all sub-compartment rosters. Establishing and maintaining an efficient filing system for forms and reports. Working with Other Governmental Agency COs to send and receive secure faxes. Developing and briefing outreach/educational materials to MC officers.
