HOW A (SIMULATIONS) SYSTEMS ENGINEER EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Operate, integrate, fielded constructive simulation models in support of exercises and training in classrooms and work cells, reconfigurable tactical operations centers (RTOCs), vehicle pads, and other related training locations.
• Ability to understand network architectures, the implications of cybersecurity requirements, and the ability to describe to senior leadership.
• Understanding of customer programs of record simulation systems capabilities and implementation.
• Understanding exercise design; how the customer uses the planning cycle to deliver service to the training organization.
• Understanding how the customer integrates the current programs of record into the higher Joint architecture.
• Understand the conceptual capabilities of simulations and networks to advise the customer on future developments of training venues.
• Define exercise life cycle tasks with appropriate personnel for planning and execution resulting in higher fidelity outcomes of planning events and greater training opportunities for the customer.
• Participates in special projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: BS/BA
• Required Experience: Retired FA57 Field Grade Officer; 12+ years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: Technical expertise in Army simulations and networks;  
• Security Clearance Level: SECRET Clearance is required with the ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance
• Required Skills and Abilities: Superb communication skills; strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on simulations capability; Must be able to lead a design team to create a high fidelity, realistic training event in a Live, Virtual, and Constructive environment to meet leadership needs
• Location: On Customer Site / moderate travel required to other customer sites throughout AoR
• US Citizenship Required
