  • Interface with end-users, systems administrators, and engineers for scheduling and implementing firewall exceptions, network troubleshooting, configuring new firewall equipment, monitor security system logs and status, and perform daily tuning of firewall and IPS tools.
  • The candidate will be able to effectively communicate and escalate issues and incidents as required by current process and develop new processes for issue resolution and troubleshooting management.
  • Software maintenance and patching of network security tools
  • Development and maintenance of standard security operating procedures, processes, and guidelines
  • Provide recommendations and requirements for emerging engineering initiatives and services
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation as required in support of real-world operations and exercises
  • Document all events and tickets in the appropriate systems
  • Participate in knowledge sharing
  • Performing documentation review and improvement
  • Possess current, relevant certifications to include CCNP or CCNP – Security.

BA/BS (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years of experience.

Must possess (upon applying) a US Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI as required.

Must be IAT Level II Compliant (i.e. Security+ CE or equivalent certification)
