GDIT is looking for a Senior Configuration Manager to support the National Institute of Health ( NIH), National Heart Lung and Blood Institute’s( NHLBI) software portfolio. The Sr. Configuration Analyst will deliver innovative solutions for improving the effectiveness, reach, and content of these software solutions, while reducing their technical debt.
You will be responsible for contributing across the software life-cycle, with an emphasis on configuration management. As such, this role requires understanding the components of software solutions so that they can be documented and automated so that they can be consistently built, deployed, tracked and operated as intended.
Analyze existing systems interfaces and documents.
Understand and document the processes for building and deploying systems in a consistent manner by identifying, tracking and verifying configuration items.
Configure and manager Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
Collaborate with the team on agile activities including to estimation, iterative planning and retrospectives
Manage the flow of development from idea to release
Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline and 5 plus years of experience or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
Experience configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines
Ability to coordinate address software release processes
Ability to map software release packages to associated code, issue and test repository records
Experience in one or more of the following: requirements analysis, data analysis, software testing
