Provides technical solutions in the management of software, hardware, configurations, and architectures, including network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters and servers.

Evaluates existing network systems to ensure network capacity meets current and future network requirements.

Monitors network performance and troubleshoots and resolves complex problems to maintain operating efficiency and ensure quality transmission service on the network. Responds to issues based on standard operating procedures and direct instruction.

Creates, maintains and deletes user accounts.

Supports the planning, installation and maintenance of network systems for multiple classifications.

May provide installation, maintenance and repair of network hardware and software.

Specific Experience desired

System Administration (MS Windows OS, Server 2016)

-Server installation or configuration (AD,WSUS,WDS,KMS)

-Hyper-V Containers

-Virtualization Environment

-PowerShell 5.0

-Privileged Access Management (PAM)


-Remote Desktop Connection Broker, NetSupport Manager

-Storage Quality of Service (QoS)

-Credential Guard and Remote Credential Guard

-Server Core – Nano Server

-Backups (Veeam, Acronis, Paragon, AOMEI, NovaBACKUP, etc.)

-VPN – PULSE secure

Network Engineering (HP, Dell, Cisco)

-Setup and Manage Network, Subnetworks and Routing

-Firewalls and Security (McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) Host Based Security System (HBSS))

-Scripting Languages (Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.)

-Virtualization and Automation

-snmp for switches or other networking gear (or UPS management)

Cybersecurity knowledge (Risk Management Framework (RMF), IAT Level II / IAM Level I at minimum)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 0+ years of experience
