As a Network Technician supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), National Biomedical Contractor Support Services IDIQ project, you will be trusted to provide exceptional health care that improves Veteran health and well-being. This mission guides the Office of Healthcare Technology Management’s (HTM) support for patient care to provide the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
The ideal Network Technician will perform duties related to technology assessment, technology implementation, and healthcare consulting that support the VA’s Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM). The Cerner Corporation’s electronic health record (EHR) will replace the VA’s existing EHR. The Biomedical Engineer will assist in the medical device integration and interfacing with selected clinical systems for a more seamless diagnosis and care documentation process.
