At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Configuration Analyst Associate you will support and manage the responsibilities of the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects.

  • Support Incident/Change/Configuration Mgmt processes and coordinate with operations, vendors, mission partners, and change managers to support additions, removals, and changes integrating into the operational baseline
  • Acts as liaison between program and other functional groups and resolves any issues regarding Incident/Change/Configuration Mgmt
  • Ensure effective relationships are established between program, customers, teaming partners, other contract service providers, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services  
  • Perform administrative and analytical tasks/reports in support of the program to completion
  • Report, monitor, and manage ticket queues to update high priority tickets, identify trends, clean-up orphaned tickets, enforce policy compliance, and support continual improvement
  • Support and execute Quality Assurance projects that meet or exceed customer objectives
  • Review databases and tickets for accuracy, conduct spot checks, and inspect accuracy to identify discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual contract, business, procurement, and equipment reports
  • Help create clear and attainable objectives, build requirements, and review constraints of cost, time, scope, and quality
  • Understand and support respective roles and the roles of the other team members
  • Coordinate and conduct meetings with various organizations and teams to include mission partners, vendors, and operations to manage services
  • Ensure schedules are met and system resources are used effectively
  • Coordinate resolution of production-related problems
  • Review and quality check incoming requests to resolve discrepancies
  • Perform as a self-starter who manages end-to-end efforts, working independently, as well as within a team environment
  • Tracking compliance to policies and procedures and resolving / escalating any compliance issues
  • Facilitate communication and engage business and IT management to encourage configuration management efforts and value proposition
  • Reviews significant changes to ensure impacts to program management data are properly addressed
  • Participate in special projects as required

Desirable Skills / Experience:

  • Active TS/SCI and Polygraph
  • ITIL Foundation (v4) or knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Effective management, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and other applications is desirable       
  • Excellent oral and written communication/writing skills
  • Strong analysis and reporting skills
  • Experience with project management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 0+ years of experience
