GDIT has an opening for a Web Services Administrator position (hybrid - 2 days remote) supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) in Falls Church, VA. This is an IT Service Management contract in support of the operation, modernization, expansion, and further evolution of the ARNG’s global Information Technology (IT) services including networking, compute, storage, infrastructure, applications, hosting, and program management services. The GECOS program supports the ARNG enterprise IT infrastructure, its Wide Area Network (WAN), authentication and directory services, cybersecurity, application hosting, and associated services. GECOS uses ITIL best practices framework as the basis for IT Service Management (ITSM) model.
The Web Services Administrator will:
Performs the management and administration of the knowledge base and/or collaboration repositories SharePoint (e.g., Guard Knowledge Online/Guard Knowledge Network, SharePoint, and Business Intelligence [BI]), subscriptions, and information to help ensure that the right information is delivered to the appropriate place or person at the right time.
Develops and implements a Content Management Framework defined by a set of processes and techniques supporting knowledge management throughout the digital life cycle of the information in accordance with the Army Net-Centric Data Strategy and Data Delivery and Use (DDU).
Designs, creates, and maintains Operational Run-Books.
Maintains and manages document libraries and repositories.
Removes, archives, and decommissions documentation and content no longer needed.
Plans, designs, builds, tests, implements, and maintains software and hardware solutions for managing document and information repositories and websites.
Designs, creates, and maintains templates to be used for documenting operational tasks and infrastructure architecture.
Maintains and manages content databases, repositories, software tools, and web portals.
Operates, monitors, and maintains content management tools such as data-analysis and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint Portal).
Provides supervision to administrators, as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills and Experience:
A minimum of BS and 5 years of relevant IT experience with SharePoint and web administration (will consider other combinations of education, certifications and years of experience).
Posses an IAT II certification (Security+)
Computing environment certification within the first 6 months of hire
An active Secret security clearance
Desired skills and Experience:
SharePoint related certification preferred
ITIL certification
Power Apps experience
