Aviation Safety Specialist 2- Shall have a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Aeronautical Science, or Aviation Safety from an accredited college or university with at least ten (10) years’ experience in aviation safety. Must have at least three years of experience with managing aviation safety programs at a carrier for flight operations, dispatch, and maintenance and interfacing with FAA personnel. Must possess in- depth knowledge of management and analysis of safety program information, including ASIAS, ASAP, SMS, , and FOQA, to identify safety hazards as related to safety report systems, airline operations, airline SOPs, flight and performance manuals, risk management and mitigation, safety management systems, and operations.
