Job Description

Join General Dynamic Information Technology’s (GDIT’s) Defense Division to provide ITSM Leadership for an exciting new contract. As an ITSM Manager you will be responsible for designing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining enterprise ITSM capabilities to include hybrid cloud services for our DOD customers.  Successful candidates must have a strong understanding of DOD cloud governance, including service models required to implement global cloud services for DOD customers. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Service Management 
  • End-User Services 
  • Understanding of ITSM Processes and Cross Functional Services 
  • Ability to establish and manage operational cadence, governance and reporting 
  • Service Management 
  • End User Services 
  • Responsible for day-to-day project execution 
  • Project level Risk Management, Schedule Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Configuration Management, Quality Management, Resource Management & Effective Communication 
  • Be the point of contact for any escalations and critical Technical assistance 



  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent field and 10+ years of ITSM experience to include 3+ years of Cloud Service experience; additional experience / certifications may be considered in place of education 
  • Expertise Planning, Designing and Executing an Enterprise ITSM Cloud Service Offering Solution 
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility 
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment 
  • Ability to motivate teams to perform exceptionally over long stretches of time and in challenging situations 
  • Advanced ITIL v4 certifications, Azure, Office 365 or Equivalent Certifications preferred 
  • CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification  
  • Able to travel 5-10% to VA/MD/DC area 


Additional Desired Skills or Experience 

  • Expertise in Cloud service delivery network models 
  • Experience with MS Office 365 deployment and migration 
  • Experience with managed service delivery models 
  • Experience with hybrid and cloud service delivery models
