Our work depends on a Cerner Electronic Health Records (EHR) Reporting Analyst joining our team to support Federal EHR HIT Modernization program activities. This a remoted-based role. Candidate must live in the U.S.

As a Cerner Electronic Health Records (EHR) Reporting Analyst supporting Electronic Health Record (EHR) modernization program, you will be trusted to Lead, which includes reporting requirements determination, report development, standards integration, health information management compliance and providing mission critical support to our customer . In this role, a typical day will include:

Oversees Cerner CCL-Cerner Command Language, Cerner HealtheIntent data warehouse reporting initiatives and projects
Lead clinical, financial and administrative report development, including automated, scheduled or ad-hoc reports and datasets within the Cerner portfolio of solutions
Lead development, configuration, and customization of reports and dashboards built within the Cerner platform
Lead gathering requirements, designing reports, troubleshooting errors, scheduling jobs and verification and validation of reports
Lead documentation of specifications for report development
Work alongside IHS and its data partners to analyze key clinical, financial and administrative data for mapping to report areas
Assess and develop test cases for reporting use case scenarios
Lead and train a team of reporting specialists at varying levels (functional, technical) who will be dealing with report development
Create documentation for tracking, prioritization and resolution of issues detected related to report development

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent HIT (Healthcare Information Technology) Cerner or EHR platform reporting analyst work experience
5+ years experience with Cerner reporting platforms (CCL and HealtheIntent)
Experience managing small teams of reporting writers/specialists
Experience working with Cerner Data Structures & Tools
Experience optimizing SQL queries and databases
Experience in data visualization, data warehousing and BI tools such as Tableau
Experience with data transformation and healthcare data standards
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Work successfully with different teams and co-workers.
The successful candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
Ability to travel

Preferred:

Knowledge of health, and health finance, terminology
Knowledge of health privacy regulations (HIPAA, 42CFR Part II, etc.)
Experience with Cerner data warehouse (Snowflake)
Experience with Big Data technologies
Experience in federal projects and familiarity with HHS EPLC processes.
Ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks if necessary, handle changing priorities, be detail oriented, and able to work independently

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:

· Work visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position. / Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
