Tier III support
CISCO and Juniper Routers, Switches, Firewalls, WAN Protocols (EIGRP), QOS, LAN and Data Center Protocols (Spanning -Tree, Fabric-enabled technologies, VoIP to support Data, Voice and Video)
Ability, training and actual work experience with the specific computer language, systems, and/or technology is significantly more important than the number of years of experience. This is especially true with emerging technologies
Voice Over IP (VoIP)
Unix OS functionality
Adapting to changing environments and coordinate large scale implementations using available resources
Exp working helpdesk functions & network monitoring
Technical writing (ie SOPs, technical proposals)
Bachelor's in a computer or system science discipline
