HOW POLICY ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Provide technical integration and programmatic support to the Community Engagement Officer and Policy personnel on cybersecurity issues and topics.
  • Prepare cybersecurity plans and reports.
  • Design or modify comprehensive briefing packages with data and information that will resonate with senior leadership.
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across customer's organization, as well as external community partners.
  • Facilitate cybersecurity meetings and information sessions and capture minutes.
  • Identify and track action items, projects, and initiatives.
  • Assess, document, and track cybersecurity program requirements and related TEMs.
  • Translate technical information in to clear, readable documents and presentations for use by technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Compose and maintain correspondence documentation such as operating procedures and memoranda.
  • Identify and define process efficiencies.
  • Perform peer review and quality checks on cybersecurity documents and presentations.
  • Work independently and with a team with minimal supervision, to address roadblocks, deliver results, and provide courses of action.
  • Identify and provide early notification of issues/risks to the customer, as well as recommendations for resolving them.
  • Travel to local customers to discuss initiatives, projects, and other items.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelors in Communications, Cyber Security, Leadership, IT/Computer Science or related field.
  • Required Experience: 5+
  • Preferred Technical Skills: Encryption Technologies, Identity Management System (IMS), Information Assurance (IA)
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI/Polygraph
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Office, excellent writing and editing skills, excellent communication skills
  • Desired Certifications: GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy &Leadership - (GSTRT)
  • Location: Contractor Site: Herndon, VA
