We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to:

  • Work closely with the customer to solicit and understand requirements, quality assurance elements, and schedules, develop project plans, and become an integral part of their team
  • Work effectively with a distributed team which includes team members from other companies, other locations (telecommuters), and other on-site support staff
  • Perform tasks requiring management of a variety of projects encompassing multiple tasks with complexity Drive financial performance and delivery
  • Formulate and define scope and objectives in accordance with customer technical requirements specific to related client’s marketing communications needs
  • Track and report on multiple work-streams, as well as on problems, issues, and resolution
  • Produce and deliver communications related project deliverables within acceptable quality, on time, and within budget
  • Provide vision and leadership to team members with demonstrated ability to lead by example
  • Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness
  • Support the management of team members by resolving conflicts and assigning priorities as needed
  • Communicate follow on efforts or additional work with customer whenever possible

Qualified applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Bachelors required; Master’s Degree strongly desired (experience may be substituted for this requirement on a case-by-case basis)
  • MA, Industrial/Organizational psychology (or a related field) (desired)
  • PMP Required
  • 10+ years of consulting experience working with government clients
  • Experience facilitating workshops with subject matter experts and stakeholders
  • Ability to work on collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Outstanding communication capabilities, both verbal and written.  Must have the ability to present in front of audiences of any size
