GDIT is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity SMEs to support IT Discovery and Transition for a 10-billion-dollar National Nuclear Security Administration Contract. The location is Remote with possible travel to the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN
This is a 2–4-month assignment and a great opportunity for employees losing coverage or in-between assignments or staff that have permanent roles on programs that are currently slow.
Cyber Team Transition Roles Needed:
Cyber Team (Sr.) / Cyber Architect
Cyber Team (Mid) / Cyber Analyst
Cyber Team (Jr.) / Cyber Analyst Jr.
Performs cyber health checks
Review and blue sheet cyber processes
Ensure that transition occurs in an effective manner with no degradation of performance or impact to the customer
Attend regular meetings with leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams
Support the transfer of knowledge, resources and assets in line with contract requirements to facilitate a smooth transition.
Ensures that cybersecurity plans, controls, processes, standards, policies and procedures are aligned with cybersecurity standards
Support performance management and contingency planning and risk mitigation needs
Ensure contract compliance and effective communications and integration in the execution of all activities
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2+ years of related work experience
Has in-depth technical knowledge of cybersecurity systems and processes
Ability to obtain and maintain a Q clearance is required
Active Q or TS clearance
Experience in contract transition activities for programs similar in complexity desired
