We are looking for an Experienced Subject Matter Expert in the intelligence field that is also IT savvy and interested in gaining more IT skills.   Intelligence expertise should be in analyzing information from a variety of sources.  Candidates should be familiar with producing all-source intelligence analysis using various industry and government tools with emphasis on Cyber intelligence.   Candidates should also have experience in generating and providing oral briefings.   

The successful candidate will work in a SCIF at a government facility in Washington, DC, and so must possess a Top Secret clearance and be SCI-eligible.  Position will provide “day-to-day” multi-discipline analysis and planning support for the program and corresponding IT system.  Because of the varied nature of the duties onsite, we are most interested in someone who thrives on having their hands in many different projects at the same time.

Works directly with intelligence client to develop intelligence collection processes, educate and form/gather requirements on an existing well-established software system; performs limited technical duties with guidance from the technical team such as installing new software updates and changing database settings.  Has interface with end users for Tier 2/3 support.

Works closely with offsite software development team.  Communicates with the Program Manager and ensures client satisfaction with day-to-day operations of the software system.

Position Description:

  • Work independently at a government facility to support existing web-based software and the CI enterprise business
  • Provide business process and technical support for Oracle-based production systems
  • Demo application features and apply emergency bug fixes from software team
  • Collaborate with development team for Design and Development
  • Evaluate situations and recommend changes in order to improve system performance and user experience to meet the developing DSH CI enterprise mission
  • Perform analysis on requirements and improvements for existing system
  • Recommend system updates, improvements, and optimization
  • Support maintenance of information systems
  • Utilize experience and knowledge pertaining to complex technology situations in order to accomplish assignments, and leading to project success
  • Support government client in performing system monitoring of processes and managed systems

To qualify, you must have these minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years intelligence/IO experience in any DoD component or minimum 4 years Intelligence operations, policy, military planning or intelligence/CI experience
  • May accept years of experience in lieu of degree requirements
  • HQ Staff or MAJCOM equivalent experience desired
  • Possesses the ability to apply broad knowledge to a variety of unrelated tasks at the same time, in order to accomplish key results
