Oversees supply chain and logistics functions which may include but are not limited to, material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution
Procurement/Supply Chain Manager:
The Procurement/Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing a supply chain logistics network to meet the Government's procurement requirements.
(U) Knowledge of key supply chain processes such as NIST Framework on Supply Chain Risk Management Practices, purchasing, and Just-In-Time (JIT) is required.
Desired: The desired qualification of a Procurement/Supply Chain Manager includes a minimum of 10 years' experience within Government and Commercial sectors procurement/supply-chain management. It is also desired that the candidate will have a demonstrated record of managing inventory control and distribution execution.
