Act as main point of contact and subject matter expert for issues involving technological aspects of telecommunications systems.
Evaluate information, explain technical literature, descriptions and specifications.
Provide recommendations regarding telecommunications systems, communicating requirements through non-technical third-parties.
Act as a consultant to technical operations pertaining to telecommunications systems, particularly regarding identification of system data security vulnerabilities.
Meet with other technical experts on behalf of or in conjunction with Customer representatives for the purpose of explaining the operation of complex systems.
Limited travel may be required to meet with such experts and familiarity with Customer practices in conducting such meetings.
Familiarity and expertise in the design, installation, and operation of core networks and operating systems for modern telecommunications systems including 2G, 3G, LTE and 4G networks.
Familiarity with related switching systems, billing systems, fraud detection and lawful intercept systems associated with the operation of these networks.
Commensurate knowledge of modern IP networks such as router/gateway operation and standard security practices as well.
Experience working with Customer operations officers including familiarity with meeting coordination, interview procedures, and reporting practices.
Experience traveling under Customer standard procedures and practices.
Familiarity with Customer communications and messaging systems.
MSEE or MSECE, and 8 or more years of experience.
Experience as a customer operations officer or similar occupation.
