GDIT is currently seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role you will be a change agent by supporting the data entry process for the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), a post-marketing surveillance system that monitors adverse events that occur after a vaccine has been administered. You will be working alongside a team of full time and part time staff, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and productivity to produce a quality product for our client.
This is a 100% remote role.
Enter/redact initial demographic and vaccine specific information into the database submitted by healthcare providers, patients, and manufacturers, redacting any PII as necessary.
Enter any follow-up information provided.
Look to senior staff members to ask questions in order to provide the highest quality of work.
Perform special projects assigned by the team lead as necessary.
Required Skills and Experience -
High school diploma.
1-3 years of administrative experience.
Experience using medical terminology.
Typing speed of 40 wpm.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience in a healthcare setting.
