IBD-SS Electronics Technician Junior (SWA)

Primary Duties:

  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs of electronic line replaceable units within the FPS FOS equipment and preventive/corrective maintenance in both garrison and field environments
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Inspect, diagnose, repair, calibrate, and perform quality control for FPS equipment
  • Complete inspections of unit equipment and open and track work orders
  • Ensure compliance with all hazardous material regulations
  • Travel to military sites and conduct preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Conduct equipment inventories
  • Complete all required training and maintain certifications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with the COLTS or Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army)
  • Knowledge of RAID Tower system hardware and components
  • Import/Export (EXIM) compliance experience
  • Experience with military transportation & logistics, MILAIR, USTRANSCOM, etc.
  • Experience configuring military 463L pallets for MILAIR shipments, aircraft load team member
  • HAZMAT Dangerous Goods IATA and DOT certification.
  • Flight line and air cargo loading and palletization experience.
  • Familiarity with DOD logistics practices and forms, DD250, DD1348, DD1149, etc.

Education Required:

  • BA/BS with 3+ years of experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree. (6 total years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree.)

Security Clearance:

  • Ability to attain a US Secret security clearance
