Survey Data Specialist - Must have graduated from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science related field. Shall possess a working knowledge of computers having the ability to use computer operating systems including logon, logoff, system editor, moving between directories, moving, copying transferring and deleting files, report creation and knowledge of common desktop applications such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Must have knowledge of computerized data entry and formatting, data base management, and data base utilization. Must have knowledge of computerized map preparation utilizing multiple survey data sources. Shall possess experience in using GPS and TPS field collection equipment and processing software products in particular: experience with equipment and software by Leica Geosystems as this is the brand adopted by the FAA Technical Center as standard equipment. Must have prior experience operating total station survey equipment and laser scanner survey equipment and associated data collection and processing software. A minimum of one year experience shall be required along with a detailed resume indicating proficiency with the equipment and software.
