The Personnel Modernization (PersMod) team is searching for an API Developer to join their program. This position is supportable remotely; program offices are located in New Orleans and Arlington, VA.
You will work closely with other developers, system administrators, DBAs, cyber professionals and other members of the team to:
Design, develop and promote REST API(s) and other data consumption solutions using a diverse set of technologies and tools in a cloud environment
Work with API Management platforms such as WSO2 API Manager.
Work with Oracle and MySQL RDBMS, or equivalent RDBMS Technology
Work with Informatica applications such as programming, scripting, cloud store, and database platforms
Work in DoD Secure Environment with integration to required cybersecurity framework
Learn new technologies and use it to solve real problems
Bachelor’s degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
8+ years designing, developing and productionizing REST API services using SQL, ETL tools, scripting, or other programming languages
5+ years in data management, ETL and BI solutions
Experience with using an API management platform
Programming/Scripting in Python, Linux/BASH
Experience with Oracle RDBMS, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering disciplines
Familiarity with AWS cloud services such as S3, AWS Glue, Lambda
Experience with WS02 API Gateway/Manager
Computing environment certifications in either Oracle, Linux, or AWS
