Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management.
Typically supervises assigned staff, may include subordinate supervisors and managers.
Develops technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
Manages risk tracking process.
Attends customer meetings and serves as primary client liaison.
Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.

GDIT is seeking a Site Manager (SM) On-Site Lead at Kaiserslautern for Spoke MTC (JMSC-K) to the USAREUR JMSC Hub in Grafenwohr, who is responsible for the performance of work at that Spoke MTC and has appropriate corporate decision-making authority to effectively respond to TO requirements. SM shall work collaboratively and in concert with the PM and the Spoke MTC Chief, in direct support of the required TO training and technical missions. The SM serves as the principal point of contact with the Spoke MTC Chief for all technical requirements in the TO and the supervisor for Contractor employees assigned to the Spoke MTC. The duties of the SM are not envisioned to be full time, therefore anticipate these Site Managers will be dual hatted in another functional task areas.
• Knowledge of and experience with Army constructive models and simulations • Experience controlling medium to large unit training events and operations for MTC or similar organizations • Experience with military training and training support at the Brigade or higher level. • Experience in operations and training requirements at Division or higher level. • Experience executing Mission Command training at battalion command level or higher • Knowledge of virtual training simulators, constructive simulations, and with Army Games for Training • Familiarity with Army Mission command Systems/platforms • Experience leading teams responsible for Engineering, Operating, Protecting, Maintaining, and Defending (EOPM&D) Government Information Systems and associated network enclaves
Qualifications. • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline • Three (3) years’ experience on a US Military staff (Battalion or higher). • Three (3) years of experience in the management of project, program, or site of similar size, scope and complexity • Be a US Citizen • Possess a SECRET Clearance
