The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SEC's IT infrastructure. Our dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC.
Currently, we are seeking a Common Services Delivery Program Manager in Washington, DC supporting a customer contract. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a SEC Public Trust Suitability.
This position manages the Common Services support to the SEC OIT management personnel, which encompass tasks such as, Asset Management, Transition Support, Other Projects and Operational Support, Audit Remediation, eDiscovery, Infrastructure Delivery Management, and Overarching Process Support. The Contractor shall provide services and personnel who meet the minimum requirements as defined in each task, provide the team with industry specific tasks and their constraints within the contract and possibilities within the team and company. The Delivery Manager is involved with operations at the strategic level to understand how operations are conducted and therefore establish metrics and measures that are meaningful to management and the client. Engagement in planning, monitoring, and implementing client projects/updates.
So what is required of the Common Services Service Delivery Program Manager in Washington, DC on a day-to-day basis? There are quite a myriad of tasks and responsibilities, such as:
Provide direct management oversight of the Common Services Service Delivery team in support of SEC.
Ability to directly interface with SEC management counterparts to provide status updates, address issues and provide support for escalation if needed.
Assist with defining program governance requirements and subsequently review performance objectives to determine if they have been designed and established to comply with established standards.
Provide reports and metrics to GDIT and SEC management for compliance and performance
Manage and respond to SEC data calls and other IT service request.
Ability to analyze and assess problem situations to support the planning, design and implementation of suitable solutions.
Serve as a liaison between multiple internal and customer divisions.
Formulate standard operational procedures for inter-divisional communications, recommending improvements as necessary.
Conduct technical policy and contract reviews as requested and advise the Senior Management accordingly.
Provide recommendations to Senior Management.
Collaborate with the SEC Program Management and the Performance Management staff.

To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
Must be able to obtain the SEC suitability status.
At least 8 years of related experience with an emphasis on change, problem, configuration, and process management programs and/or projects
At least 5 years of proven experience managing a program with at least 50 personnel delivering Common Services
At least 3 years of experience interfacing and presenting to C-level executives
Bachelor's degree or May be substituted with six (6) additional years of related experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
In depth knowledge of program governances and contract deliverable maintenance.
In depth knowledge of Human Capital management.
Knowledge of change control and change management process, project management, and Business Management Policy.
Experience conducting analysis and providing recommendations on new or existing business process capabilities.
Experience with the Federal government
Good communication and presentation skills at all organization levels.
It would be great if you also had:
PMI’s PMP certification preferred
