Our work depends on a Website & Portal Support Manager joining our team to support the federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) activities in Washington, DC.

In this role, a typical day will include

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of Website Operations and Program Communications Support task order services, including content coordination, web design, web development, and web O&M sustainment tasks.
  • Lead the Division of Federal Systems (DFS) web team, including coordinating website operations for the DFS lines of business (LOBs).
  • Manage operational tasks and project schedules for overall maintenance and functionality of the OCSE website.
  • Coordinate with federal employees and contractors to ensure the OCSE website complies with HHS standards and federal communication regulations.
  • Coordinate with federal managers to evaluate the current structure, operations, and content of the OCSE website, provide recommendations for improvements. 
  • Establish relationships, identifying and recommending opportunities for value-added improvements and innovations.
  • Support OCSE website design and ensure that the OCSE website meets the standards for 508 compliance and other federal or agency-specific requirements.
  • Maintain technical guidance and policies for OCSE website content.
  • Evaluate and analyze OCSE website statistics and user feedback, provide recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the OCSE website.
  • Manage the posting and user feedback distribution processes for the Portal secure website to ensure content posted, and Portal user feedback is distributed timely and accurately.
  • Manage content on the website by posting/updating newsletter articles, social media, and other program communications to the appropriate place on the website.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the Drupal content management system.
  • Create, edit, and update web content (Drupal).

Required Skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of professional experience or at least five years professional experience.
  • Experience as a web content administrator supporting the maintenance, operations, and enhancement of a federal government website
  • Extensive knowledge with data processing experience, including generating web analytic reports, conducting website usability tests, reviewing and creating system documentation or user guides, and participating in system life cycle development.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to produce a clear and effective evaluation/assessment
  • Development of technical and/or training documentation
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capability
  • Advanced capabilities in Drupal or similar content management system
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as google analytics,
  • Strong background and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and within deadlines
  • Knowledge and understanding of Federal plain language guidelines

Desired Skill Set:

  • Strong initiative to establish relationships, find opportunities to innovate, and leading new ideas for improvement.
  • Knowledge of the child support enforcement program 
  • Customer service experience working in a child support-related area or program.
