GDIT is seeking a Business Process Analyst Advisor who holds active secret clearance, preferred.

The position will support a US Air Force program that is playing a major role in strengthening and modernizing Americas Strategic Deterrent Force. GDIT will develop and deliver a digital engineering design solution, which enables and integrates the program’s complete set of data, tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and makes them available to internal and appropriate external engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the program’s lifecycle. This effort will culminate in an abstracted, highly transportable environment delivered to the Government, to be instantiated “virtually” on the Government’s network infrastructure, and updated during the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of weapon system development.

GDIT’s implementation of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) emphasizes understands the need for compliance, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and extensive traceability while providing an agile, lean systems, iterative environment for product development. On the Digital Engineer Environment (DEE) Program, this will be accomplished by implementing the SAFe for Large Solutions model. This will progress from Requirement, to Capability, to Feature, to Story, to Release.

The duties will include managing a team of Requirements Analysts, whose responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects

  • Performing functional allocations to identify tasks and their inter-relationships

  • Researching, identifying and assisting in the formulation of recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion

  • Participating in the development of new systems or updates to existing systems to meet client needs

  • Identifying and recommending emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems

  • Writing and updating project documentation including system procedures and training materials

  • Conducting functional testing of various systems

  • Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas

  • Participating in special projects as required

Requirements include:

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Scientific Discipline (or equivalent); and 8+ or more years of experience managing Requirements Analysis or Configuration Management efforts

  • DOD Secret Clearance preferred

  • 100% Remote within USA
