  • Assures the viability, functionality, and effectiveness of test tools.
  • Contractor Product owner has ultimate responsibility for assuring that products are compliant with technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate the use and maintenance of test environments for systems supporting the needs of all projects.
  • Define and implement test strategy to ensure maximum test coverage.
  • Lead and mentor a distributed team consisting of local and remote test resources.
  • Manage the creation and on-going development of an automated testing framework for use on the products.
  • Perform test engineering tasks when needed including creating and executing test cases.
  • Provide Test Coverage reports to stakeholders for each software release.
  • Recommend and lead initiatives to improve test processes and improve efficiency.
  • Report detailed defect reports.
  • Support multiple development teams with estimation, planning and strategy for testing products.
  • Work closely with Release Manager.

REQUIRED QUAIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BA Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Demonstrated success for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, processes and products quality and reliability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8 years of software quality assurance experience,
  • Minimum of 3 years in a lead role or management position.
  • 5 years of experience with SAFe related testing and quality management. 
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery especially integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with scripting knowledge (Java or Python).
  • Experience with source configuration management and defect tracking systems (such as Bitbucket and Jira).
  • Familiar with customer testing process.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and processes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile software development life cycles and current software quality assurance processes and automated tools
