Assigns professional employees to specific client projects. Works with leadership to identify resources needed and create workforce strategy.

Duties/Task and Responsibilities:

  • Directs and guides the activities of a team or teams responsible for assigning professional services employees to specific client engagement projects.
  • Works with consulting leadership to identify current and future technical and business resources needed and create long-term workforce strategy in alignment with business plan requirements.
  • Develops and implements policies and practices to effectively balance resource utilization needs with planning targets, skills allocation, actual utilization and staffing levels.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively as a member of an integrated team and the ability to negotiate reasonable compromises among a diverse group of stakeholders with diverse opinions or diverging strategies
  • Knowledge of Federal Government and Commercial Industry best practices to include emerging cyber security capabilities and their application
  • Demonstrated familiarity with Agency Enterprise IT systems to include the Intelligence Community Integrated Technology Environment (IC-ITE)
  • Demonstrated record of good judgment and problem-solving skills necessary to make reasonable security
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, with the ability to clearly express technical and complex strategy concepts to peers and seniors
  • Team and mission-oriented self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, technically challenging area; ability to anticipate and manage changes or problems; assess impacts and make sound recommendations
  • Strong desire to utilize new technology to meet mission needs, quickly research new technology, and derive larger themes from disruptive technology
