GDIT is seeking a Customer Engagements Manager to provide support for the Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) Cloud Service Offering contract. PLEASE NOTE: The employee will be required to report full-time onsite in Fort Meade, MD or Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited:
Creates, supports, and manages all communications for the Program, both internally and externally to our direct customers.
Translate technical information to a broader non-technical community.
Present to executive management and to direct customers.
Create, distribute, manage, and collaborate on all IT communications between the local Program team and the direct customer.
Flexible and able to work in collaboration with the direct customer and executive management.
Provides daily support to the Program Manager on all communications and reporting aspects of the program.
Organize and create communications regarding project initiatives, executive management reporting, external communications, and internal Program communications.
Initiate, update, and produce reporting for all aspects of the program.
Understand staff, and the work that the staff performs, and be able to advocate on their behalf.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Ability to advocate and mentor Service Excellence on the program supporting and collaborating with the direct customers.
Able to package and deliver necessary communications to the direct customers and provide continuous support.
Understand the staff level work and be able to advocate on their behalf.
Support in-person and remote meetings, executive presentations, and events.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance.

Experience with commercial cloud services.
Understanding of IT environments
Strong communications and management experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Able to report onsite as indicated above
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
PMP, ITIL, and/or SixSigma certifications.
Understanding of IT environments within Field Services, Service Desk, Project Management, IT infrastructure, etc. a plus.
Technical knowledge of IT Engineering / Infrastructure and cloud-based services a plus.
