GDIT is in need of a Task Management Tool (TMT) Trainer and System Administrator to support U.S. Army Europe on our EMITS Program Team in Wiesbaden Germany.

The Task Management Tool (TMT) Trainer and System Administrator to train and support the senior staff at USEUCOM on the Task Management Tool application providing group and desk-side training to executive level staff.  The applications trainer/system admin is responsible to the day-to-day support, maintenance, and end-user account management need to ensure 100% uptime and availability. The applications trainer/system admin will work closely with the server team and application vendor on application availability and upgrades, patches, and fixes.

Additional Job Duties:

  • Responsible for coordination of TMT vendor health checks and engineering services in support of upgrades, troubleshooting, and regular maintenance as determined by the customer.

  • Responsible for the capturing the license requirements and procurement of annual TMT Software Assurance licenses in support of the customer.

  • Coordinating vendor site visits to facilitate on-site TMT back-end application support.

  • Provide administrator and end user training.

  • Provide custom software engineering, application development, server administration, account management support, and development of workflow routing processes to support mission owners.

  • Assist with executing staffing, editing of products in the formal staffing process through the Command Task Management Program before Command Group review, training staff action officers through the Staff Officer Training Program, and documenting trends on an as needed basis.

  • Serve as a TMT Task focal point ensuring efficient dissemination of Command-level and Joint Staff delegated taskers, guidance and policy as required and as a secondary duty to the primary TMT support duties.

  • Review and analyze all incoming correspondence and requests for command action to determine what action is required.

  • Determine if formal tasking is required and prepare documents for action.

  • Prepare and disseminate taskers to responsible parties when required.

  • Controls and coordinates responses to tasking and serves as command's conduit for suspense extensions when requested and justified.

  • Task the provisioning of pertinent briefing and meeting materials to the Command Group, and review information, to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Task the creation of specific correspondence to complete actions directed as a result of Command Group forums.

  • Complete and review reports, analyze trends, timeliness of processing actions, status of actions and identify discrepancies or deficiencies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must possess a Secret Level Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

  • BA/BS or equivalent, 10+ years of experience and experience working in an Army Command environment as a member of the staff and, preferably, a Joint Command environment with an in-depth understanding of the staff coordination and tasking process.

  • Training experience across all levels of staff up to senior executive and General/Admiral level is highly desired.

  • Must possess a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification at time of hire.
