GDIT is seeking a Lead Database Developer in support of the Headquarters, US Army Medical Research and Development Command (HQ USAMRDC) for Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) Support Services at Fort Detrick, Maryland.
The Lead Database Developer shall design, develop, test and deploy application code supported by Oracle and MS SQL databases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, test, deploy, evaluate and configure Oracle and SQL Server database products in support of user and system requirements ·
• Create and maintain Oracle database objects, complex Oracle Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) programs, queries, packages, functions, procedures, and triggers.
• Create and maintain complex MS SQL Server database objects, queries, functions, stored procedures, triggers. ·
• Manage and administer the ExLibris Voyager (current version) library management application ·
• Create new Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and SQL scripts to support a data warehouse.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Requires B.S. Degree (in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university).
• ITIL 4 Foundations certification or ability to obtain in first 6 months of job start.
• Experience applying systems engineering fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.
• Experience working on DoD programs.
• Familiarity with industry MBSE tools and modeling methodologies to successfully produce systems engineering models.
• Familiarity with DODAF products.
• Familiarity with DESMF or ITSM.
• Certifications:
• INCOSE CSEP.
• Security+.
• Other SE related certifications.
