Maintain Windows systems in a VMWare ESXi virtual environment (VMWare 6.x and VMWare Horizon 6.x); configure and troubleshoot virtualized system hardware and peripheral access issues.
Manage a Microsoft Active Directory environment and common services (DNS, email, file and print services) in configurations representative of DoD environments.
Implement DISA STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) requirements for Microsoft operating systems, services and roles (DNS, AD, etc.), and applications (MS Office).
Create, deploy and maintain standardized Windows 10 workstation images, via Windows Deployment Services (WDS) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM); create and manage domain accounts for large user communities in support of events.
Deploy system updates and patches utilizing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft System Center Updates Publisher (SCUP), and Windows Software Update Services (WSUS).
Conduct daily system maintenance activities including log reviews and connectivity checks to maintain project infrastructures and systems in a in a ready-to-use state.
Physically install server, workstation and peripheral devices in equipment racks and user workspaces.
Occasionally travel in support of network events.
Familiarity with DISA SCAP (Security Content Automation Protocol) tools in securing operating systems and applications
Familiarity with requirements of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Experience in virtualization (VMware 6.x) and VDI (VMWare Horizon 6.x)
Experience with DoD cyber operations (USCYBERCOM, Navy Fleet Cyber, etc.)
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Must have at least five (5) years of related experience working in maintaining and managing computer systems that are used to support multiple computer operations at the same time
Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance and be eligible for Top Secret
Must be a U.S. citizen
Certified DOD 8570.1-M IAT Level 2 (baseline and operating system certifications)
