Provide technical guidance and direct support to FEMA NCP leadership on all facets of government communications providers and their capabilities. Additional responsibilities and areas of expertise include but are not limited to:

  • Experience with and the understanding of the inner workings of various government communication providers and their capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of national continuity related policies and directives to include Presidential Policy Directive 40, Federal Continuity Directive 1, and OSTP/OMB Directive D-16-1.
  • Knowledgeable of the Defense Red Switch Network (DSRN) and Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) Emergency Action Procedures (EAP)
  • Experience designing various continuity and communications architectures, systems, and facilities.
  • Experience with the operation and design of various OSTP/OMB Directive D-16-1 communication systems, i.e. Crisis Management System (CMS)
  • Experience with the system accreditation process and documentation at various organizations within the federal government, to include DHS Sensitive Systems Policy Directive 4300A & 4300B.
  • Must currently hold an active TS/SCI security clearance within the last five years
  • 15-20 years of experience
