The Program Manager (PM) will provide management, direction, administration, quality control, and leadership of the execution of all tasks within contract. The PM will work closely with the government clients and all stakeholders to integrate and coordinate all work activities.

HOW A PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Be accountable on behalf of respective firm for quality delivery across all efforts.
  • Oversee and supervise the work distribution across resources.
  • Manage the performance for tasks and associated deliverables.
  • Develop contract status reports. 
  • Respond to program questions/issues raised during the execution of tasks.
  • Possess full authority to act for their respective company on contract matters relating to daily operation of the work
  • Be available during business hours to meet with Government personnel to discuss any items pertaining to the program.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering , Information Technology or related discipline

Required Experience:

  • 12 + years of IT System Delivery experience including 5+ years of experience managing an Operations and Maintenance (O&M), application development, enhancement, operations program on complex programs

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Hands-on Systems Development / Integration Experience: possess 5+ years of experience in hands-on system development / integration roles involving multiple subsystems and technologies using Agile delivery methodologies. 
  • PMP® or PgMP® Certification:  have a current PMP® or PgMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).  Must demonstrate that the certification is current. 
  • Agile Methodology Certification: current Agile certifications such as PMI Agile Certified Professional (ACP), Certified Scrum Professional, Certified Scrum Master (CSM). 
  • Communications Skills: possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials.
  • Staff Management Skills: have experience with the management, workforce utilization, and supervision of employees of various labor categories and skills in large projects.  The PM must be able to clearly define and maintain a culture of performance accountability.

  • Ability to secure a Public Trust Clearance
