This position will be responsible for all SharePoint administration and will provide configuration and maintenance for a medium sized SharePoint 2016 farm to include patching user support and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include the following:


• Execute day-to-day support/maintenance activities on the servers and services including daily monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and performance analysis
• Document, test and deploy new technologies as required
• Conduct installs/configurations of the hardware and software for appropriate servers
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure data recovery capabilities
• Perform typical system administrative activities such as site creation, user/site owner training, managing permissions, backup, restore and issue resolution


Occasional after-hours maintenance and on-call support required.

• BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an Information Technology.

Minimum Experience Required:

• Seven (7) years of experience, to include: Windows Server, IIS, and SharePoint administration
• Five (5) years of experience, to include: SQL Server database administration
• Must have excellent troubleshooting skills
• Experience in mitigating DISA STIG requirements
• Experience with PowerShell Scripting to automate maintenance tasks a plus
• Experience with DocAve a plus

Certifications Required:


IAT Level II baseline certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M (Security+)

 

And one of the following certifications or equivalent:


• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
• Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
