Join the team of men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. GDIT is seeking a Database Engineer with Air Force ISR experience to join the GDIT on potential new work at Lackland AFB, VA.

  • Provide database engineering support
  • Create and test backups of data, provide data cleansing services, verify data integrity, implement access controls.
  • Assist developers of data exposure services with engagement of the database.
  • Protect data quality, security, and integrity and deliver database solutions.
  • proactive administration and management tracking and reporting to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Incorporate best practices across all processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to eliminate process risks and ensure reliability and availability of database servers and databases.
  • Monitor, administer, and maintain standalone and enterprise level databases.
  • Desire Air Force ISR experience database platforms, including Microsoft’s SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, and Microsoft Access, as well as various database schemas

Required Qualifications:

Security +

IAT Level II compliant

5+ years of database experience (SQL, Oracle)

TS/SCI Clearance

Shift work may be required
