GDIT is recruiting for a Configuration Management Specialist will will maintain configuration information for all IT assets deployed in the environment as configuration items (CIs) in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and manages changes throughout the lifecycle of configuration items. Maintains relationships between CIs, monitors, tracks, updates, and validates configuration changes using data provide by automated and manual discovery and verification. Supports design, planning, and implementation of changes to IT assets to include change impact modelling. Works closely with Change and Release Management teams. Has experience with ServiceNow ITOM and Remedy Atrium.
Secret Clearance is required Certifications required include ITIL Foundations and Desired Certification is ITIL Service Configuration Management
