TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required for this position.

Candidate should meet the DoD 8570.01-M requirements IAT Level II such as the CompTIA Security+ certification.

Job Responsibilities:

Seeking an individual to fill a position as a system administrator providing support to secure voice communications security (COMSEC) devices as part of our Operations and Maintenance team.  Individual will be part of our COMSEC team providing support for all secure voice devices. Individual will perform operations from a central location for a disperse enterprise customer base.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers with issues associated with secure voice devices
  • Provide installation assistance remotely for COMSEC Controlled Items
  • Perform two person integrity for rekeying activities
  • Participate in hardware, software and firmware testing and upgrades
  • Provide remote troubleshooting and support to all voice cryptographic endpoints
  • Scheduling maintenance to include applying various patches, updates and hot fixes
  • Performing and maintaining system backups
  • Completing user actions requests (system access, permission updates, removal, etc.)
  • Follow all COMSEC guidelines in proper storage, handling and reporting of COMSEC equipment and keying material
  • Assist COMSEC Manager and Alternate as required to perform inventory, inspections, training, destruction, etc.
  • Document troubleshooting actions in Service Now ticketing system, providing updates and status in accordance with required incident, change or service request timelines
  • Assist in conducting semi-annual inventory of all government physical Voice COMSEC material
  • Provides advice and training to end-users
  • Participates in testing and deployment of new technologies
  • Communicate effectively (in oral and written form) with a variety of individuals; work well within small and large team environments.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned

Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited College or University is required along with 10+ years of experience.

Candidate should have experience and knowledge/understanding of:

  • Knowledge of military/government COMSEC requirements
  • Experience with administration of Key Management Infrastructure, CARDS or Local Management Device/Key Processor
  • Familiarity with COMSEC and keying devices
  • Performed loading of VIPER and STE equipment
  • Knowledge of Service Now or similar ticketing system
  • Experience in deployment and/or support of personal electronic device (laptops, tablets, iPhones)
  • COMPTIA Security Plus certified
  • Willingness to learn new technologies to support other service areas

Additional experience and knowledge/skill set is not required but a plus:

  • Active Directory Administration 
  • DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP
  • Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016,
  • Application Troubleshooting such as Outlook, Excel, Word, JAVA, Internet Explorer
  • Linux Operating system
  • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • PowerShell
  • Virtualization Environments (VMware, Citrix)
  • Profile management utilizing the VMware User Experience Management (UEM) toolset
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Telephone/Video support
  • Networking
  • Familiarity with site specific customer and mission

TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required for this position.
