SharePoint Admin will perform daily duties such as, but not limited to:

  • Provides management and support of the SharePoint site collection to End Users

  • First point of contact for support or user questions

  • Comply with policies/direction from SharePoint Administrators

  • Provide SharePoint Administrative roles such as: Provision sites for End Users, manage permissions

  • Ensure SharePoint permission group(s) are used at site level, no direct permissions (if applicable)

  • Manage the functionality of features such as Search, Recycle Bin, view the Audit Log Reports, work with site collection policies, manage the site collection caching, and activate or deactivate Site Collection features

  • Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new Microsoft based initiatives

  • Oversee and perform typical system administrative activities such backup, restore and issue resolution

  • Maintain current industry knowledge of development concepts, best practices, and procedures for SharePoint solutions

  • Creation and management of site templates

  • Maintain site and list templates

  • Maintain portal/site collection entry with all policies and procedures

Required Skills

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • At least 3 years of experience working on SharePoint in Site Collection Administrator / Owner role

  • Experience supporting SharePoint 2019 and O365 platforms

  • Experience supporting a migration from SharePoint 2010, 2013 to 2019 (or various combination)

  • Fundamental knowledge of related front end development

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills in a team-based development environment
